who'da thunk it? Oliver Cromwell, arch-puritanical, anti-heretical, religiously zealotous to the Nth participal came out with one of the great nihilist quotes of all time, to whit:

"I beseech you, in the bowels of Christ, think it possible you may be mistaken"

and, before you all start (all sodding one of you) just because he talks of christ's nether regions don't make it somehow 'un-nihilist' after all what's the son of god taking craps for anyhoo? 1/3rd of the holiest of holies wiping his arse? i don't think so. makes it more nihilistic if anything.
